DS-KH6320-WTE2 is a modern touch monitor designed to control Hikvision second-generation video intercom systems in the 2-Wire standard. It allows direct audio/video conversation with people at the door station and intercom communication between other monitors installed in the system. Thanks to this residents can communicate with each other free of charge. The system is operated using a clear and intuitive graphic interface.
The monitor allows users to connect and preview images from IP cameras and door stations at any time. They can also capture photos during video calls and record a short message in case the resident missed a call. The built-in Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz module working in b/g/n standard enables wireless communication. The panel is powered with 24 VDC via the 2-Wire bus from the G74823 DS-KAD706 distributor. After connecting the distributor to the network via a LAN port each supported device gets its IP address and is visible and configurable just like other IP video door phones.

2-Wire system

There is often a need to replace the existing intercom (video) system with a newer one offering greater functionality and quality. This type of modernization may require replacement of the cabling e.g. with twisted pair cables for IP systems. The Hikvision video intercom working in 2-Wire standard offers all the possibilities of an IP system. The construction of a small system consists in connecting the main unit (door station) to the G74823 DS-KAD706 distributor and monitor(s) by means of the 2-Wire bus. The 2-Wire bus allows for both powering the devices and establishing communication. The G74823 DS-KAD706 distributor also enables further expansion and connection of the system to a LAN.
